Sacramento is 25 miles to the west and Roseville is just 6 miles to the west. Hidden Lakes is a community that offers custom homes, mature landscaping, large lots, a sense of community, easy access to many recreation opportunities and great schools.
Hidden Lakes Estates is an established community. Hidden Lakes is comprised of 199 custom homes on large home sites. The first homes were built in 1977 and most homes were completed by 1990. The neighborhood has an abundance of natural Live Oaks, Blue Oaks and granite outcroppings. In addition, the landscaping throughout the neighborhood is lush with mature trees and plants. Hidden Lakes’ community property includes two small lakes, a park, and a 4-acre oak-studded open space.
Hidden Lakes Estates has a strong sense of community. An active Homeowner’s Association is responsible for maintaining the common areas and ensuring that the association’s standards and CC&Rs are maintained. The Homeowner’s Association sponsors several community events throughout the year. Our big events include an Easter Parade and Egg Hunt, an Independence Day Celebration with fireworks over our private lake, and a fall social which changes themes yearly. Smaller events include New Resident Parties, the Christmas Eve Luminary display, and the Holiday Cookie Exchange.
Hidden Lakes Estates provides easy access to outdoor recreation. The east side of Hidden Lakes abuts Folsom Lake State Recreation Area and getting to Folsom Lake is a beautiful walk from all homes within the community. Folsom SRA offers swimming, boating, fishing, equestrian trails, hiking and biking trails, and camping. The paved American River Bike Trail begins in Folsom SRA and runs for 30 miles into Sacramento. Other recreation is nearby, too. Lake Tahoe, Sierra ski slopes, Napa and San Francisco are all within a two-hour drive.
Hidden Lakes Estates is served by excellent schools. Located in the highly rated Eureka Union School District (K-8) and the Roseville Joint Union School District (9-12), children are offered one of the best educations available in the Greater Sacramento region.
